Frequently Asked Questions
How does the gate access work?
Upon entering the facility after hours you will approach the closed gate and enter your personal gate code into the keypad. If the code is correct, the gate will open and you will be able to enter the facility. Gates are open when a manager is onsite. When you are ready to leave, pull up to the gate and the sensor in the ground will be activated and the gate will open to let you out. You can only get out in a vehicle.
When am I able to access my unit?
The air-conditioned units are accessible 8:30am-5pm M-F and 9am-noon on Saturday as well as by special appointment. If you need to make an appointment, call during office hours and arrange a time to come in. We are happy to accommodate your schedule. The non-air-conditioned units may be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
Can I keep food in my unit? It will only be temporary.
No. You cannot store food or perishables in your unit. We cannot allow food in our facility because it may attract unwanted pests. This includes decorative items such as Indian corn and macaroni art.
Why would I want an air-conditioned unit?
The humidity of Florida can be unforgivable. Some items, such as fine furniture, electronics, books, and clothes may be vulnerable to the harsh Florida climate. In order to avoid unwanted weathering, renting an air-conditioned unit is ideal in some instances. Record Storage and File Storage for businesses require a controlled unit.
Is there a security deposit?
Yes, there is a $25.00 security deposit required for each unit rented. The security deposit will be returned to you upon termination of the lease provided all items have been removed and there is no damage to the unit.
Do you take credit cards?
Yes. We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. We are also able to auto charge your card to make your monthly payments (in order for this to happen, the appropriate forms must be filled out).
Should I get insurance?
All-Secure Storage is not responsible for any loss or damage of stored items. We recommend that you check with your insurance agent to make sure you have coverage for stored goods.
